Dr. Stevens joined the faculty of UNLV in 2004. She specializes in the literature of the long eighteenth century, the history of the novel, and literary theory. She has published articles in Studies in Eighteenth-Century Culture, Critical Inquiry, the Journal of General Education, and elsewhere. Her book British Historical Fiction before Scott will be published in 2010 by Palgrave Macmillan for their series “Enlightenment, Romanticism, and the Cultures of Print.”
