 Claudia Keelan specializes in the fields of Creative Writing and Poetics. She has published 5 collections of poetry including Refinery, (CSU Poetry Prize 1994), The Secularist, (University of Georgia Contemporary Poetry Series, 1997), Utopic (Beatrice Hawley Award, Alice James Books, 2000), and The Devotion Field (2004), also from Alice James Books. A letter press chapbook, Of & Among There Was a Locus(t) is available from Ashata Press. In 2001, she won the Silver Pen Award from the State of Nevada.
