Dr. Harp has published seven books (including books published by Cambridge and Norton), 39 articles, and has presented 33 conference papers. He has taught and lectured extensively internationally, having held, for example, a Fulbright appointment at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a Dissertation Fellowship at the National University of Ireland-Galway. He is a founding co-editor (with Stanley Stewart at UC-Riverside) of a journal in Renaissance studies, the Ben Jonson Journal, which is housed at UNLV. His teaching and research interests include Renaissance and Irish literature, as well as interdisciplinary studies centered around the Great Works. He is especially interested in mentoring graduate students' research: he has helped guide the publication of twenty-three books and articles by graduate students.
