Dr. Coburn specializes in the fields of 18th Century British Literature and Rhetoric. He has been at UNLV since 1969; and for several years, he was Director of the Southern Nevada Writing Project and the UNLV Freshman Composition Program. His teaching is primarily in the fields of Restoration and 18th Century literature and in rhetoric and composition.
