Your vein blue under
The temple, temple
Of lightning, blue
Lightning forked like
Trees, the branches of
Trees, I am held in
Those branches the
Arms of your blood
In the blue arms
Of your love: fixed
Beneath your skin,
The arm of your
Heart's lightning,
Blue spark of love
Beneath the temple
Where my kiss falls
Like a pause
In the thunder
Of your pulse.
